To validate a network:

1. Click on the Network control and select the network to validate.
2. Click on the Validate button. The Validate dialog opens.
3. Check the options to validate for the active network. The following options should be off for the default electric data model:
   • Node id used by multiple elements
   • Unassigned network id
   • Directed-node reference to missing downstream edge
4. Click on the OK button. The Validate dialog closes and the Validation Results dialog appears with the results.
5. Select an entry from the list and use the Zoom To button to visually inspect the objects that were flagged during network validation.
6. Toggle on Auto Locate to quickly move from visual inspection from one list entry to the next.
